Holding hands on a tram

Illustration // Graphic Design

2017

Holding hands on a tram was an illustration produced for the Alice's Garage public event in 2017. This event was in response to the apology from the Victorian State Government for the historical treatment of LGBTIQ people. This included the story of the two lesbians that were convicted with offensive behaviour for holding hands on a tram.

The brief for Jacq was to produce a fun, bright graphic that could promote the event, and tell the story of this powerful moment in Lesbian history in Melbourne.
